I finally changed my blog to a real blogging…thing. lol. I used Textpattern which I’m thinking I will be quite happy with. I managed to fit it into my layout so hopefully it is working properly. It looks right on my screen! I’ve still got some tweeking to do but we’ll see how it goes.

I leave for Ottawa in eleven days! I’m excited but at the same time I’m getting a little stressed about the whole thing. For one, I still have to find somethign to wear to my cousins wedding. For two, my kitty is staying home and I haven’t been away from her that long before. I have a great friend keeping an eye on her, but I’m still going to miss her. She’s actually going to help me shop tomorrow too.

Speaking of kitty, Calypso’s got a split nail. I was trying to cut her claws last night and noticed it. It’s one of her ‘funny’ claws. She’s a Polydactyl Cat. Her front paws have six fingers and her back paws have five. One nail on each paw hangs a bit, but mostly just the one paw. She doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable with the split claw and I read something last night about cats shedding claws. I’ll have to ask the vet when she goes in for her last (finally) shots.

I may have fixed an issue I had with a video camera I won on ebay. There was no actual issue with ebay so it’s not really a bad thing. I mistakenly started a bank transfer for payment when what I wanted to do was add money to my paypal first then do an instant transfer. So now I have to wait until the 12th for the payment to clear then possibly three days for the bloody thing to be mailed. I emailed them today to see if they could send express because I want to have it before I go on my trip. They said yes so hopefully I will get it on time. If not I will be very unhappy! But I am happy I got a cheap digital video camera. It says it may be a display model but comes with all the stuff. I can’t afford a good one yet but I wanted one so I can video tape my psychotic cat!

I guess that’s it for now. I need to get my ass in gear and do something productive today. I might go look downtown a bit for an outfit but I need for sure to do laundry…so much laundry…::sigh::
