I’m so glad it’s almost Fall! As much as I love camping and festivals and wearing shorts…I’m very happy that it’s cooling down and I can almost pull out my sweaters! And it means that it’s almost hockey season!

Speaking of hockey season…I got tickets to the Vancouver Canucks game that they’re going to retire Trevor Linden’s jersey at!!! Of all the games ever that is the one I just could not miss! I already miss Linden, which sounds stupid, but knowing he won’t be there still sucks. As does knowing that a bunch of the team has changed. As long as Pyatt and the Sedins are still there I will be okay though. Anyways…hopefully I have my new camera by then so I can get better pictures of Linden.

And speaking of new camera…I’m hoping to get a Canon XSi some time in the next couple months. I missed a good deal at Futureshop that came with a telephoto lens, but that’s okay. There will be other sales as everyone keeps telling me. That is definitely the camera I’m getting though. I was researching lenses earlier but all the ones that sounded awesome of course where very much out of my price range (the camera is expensive enough!). But it’s a DSLR so I shouldn’t need another camera again unless it craps out. I’m also hoping it will help motivate me to go out more to take pictures. I need to find new places close to home to take pictures at.

Short wrap up of life…I finished reading The Last Unicorn (such a good story!), my laptop shopping is on hold until after I get my camera and save up more money again, work is work, life is life…
