Three live games and a bittersweet win
Let’s start with the bittersweet win, just to get it over with. The Canucks played an early game today which is very out of the ordinary for them. It started at 11am. It was against Crosby and the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Thing started off with a low hit by a former Canuck, Matt Cooke, who I use to like until he took Edler out at the knees. That incited a line-brawl that got Cooke and one of the Canucks, Hansen, kicked out of the game. Then a little bit later in the first Luongo stretched to make a save and hurt his “lower-body”. It looked like he did something to his left leg, he didn’t put any pressure on it at all when he left the ice. In the end the Canucks won and Sanford played great in net…but there’s still the worry that Lu might not be back for the next game. But of course they never say a thing.
As for the three live games, the Salmon Kings have been playing alright lately. They had a three game series against the Alaska Aces this week. Wednesday I went with my boyfriend and we watched them lose. It wasn’t really a great game from what I remember, but then I’ve watched so much hockey in the past five days I can’t totally remember. I did get a picture of a goal for the first time ever, although you can’t see the puck in it lol. Saturday was a better game, I watched it from the Pharmasave box (got tickets from the boss at work) with one of my coworkers. They SKings won that one, but it’s not as exciting watching from that far away. Tonight started off as a not so great game. Went with a different coworker who had never been to a hockey game before. We had a great time. The SKings were down 3-0 but caught up in the third. Then in overtime the ref called a weak penalty agains the SKings and the Aces scored. Guess Warshaw (the ref) can mark himself down for an assist on that one. There was some incredibly loud booing at the end of that game.
Anyways, I should be going to bed but the Jeff Dunham very special christmas special is on. He’s quite hilarious. I need to look up “guitar guy” on youtube one of these days too. Then I’ll probably go read for a bit. I’m still on book 1 of my 50 book challenge, and only at page 208 of 769. Duma Key is very good so far though so I should beable to finish it soon, then I can start A Christmas Carol (I’ve been meaning to read it for years!!). I’ve completely given up NaNoWriMo…but I probably said that already in my last post lol.

My name is Carla. I'm a Canadian girl, Coca~Cola drinker, loyal Canucks fan, avid Stephen King reader, amateur photographer, Legend of Zelda addict and wannabe pirate. And yes, I know I'm a dork.

I love it how much you’re into HOCKEY xD I’d love to attend a game one day, but who knows when and where xD
50 books? =O really? XD
I’m no Twilight fan either, so as a true Harry Potter fan, it still upsets me what WB did to us.
