Off To AC/DC!!

We’re heading over to Vancouver today to go see the AC/DC concert. I’m finally getting excited about it, even though I’m exhausted right now. I got up far too early (I heard Trevor Linden’s name on the radio and had to hear what it was about, which woke me up enough that getting back to sleep would have been a chore). I’m looking forward to the ferry ride, since I have my new camera and am hoping to get some pictures on the way. I’m not sure if the seals will still be out now that it’s cold but I’m hoping. And it was on the ferry during a nature talk thing they did that I learned how to spot bald eagles (was very helpful when I went out to Goldstream park a couple weeks ago).

I think I’ve finally passed the halfway point of Duma Key. It’s a great book! It’s strange in that it’s hard to tell where it’s going. I love Miss Eastlake. And for some reason I love that Reba McEntire was mentioned in it lol.

I need to start christmas shopping…but I won’t really have time this weekend because we’ll be heading to Vancouver for the concert and then heading home tomorrow. I have figured out what I’m getting some people, but others I’m having issues with. My mom went out and bought herself a digital frame which I had already bought for her for christmas so I need a new idea for her. Luckily we have someone else we can give the digital frame to. My brothers, except for one, are easy enough. My parents not as much. But at least next week I can decorate! Then it’ll start feeling like christmas :)

  1. I hope you have a great time at the concert! The ferry ride seems like it should be fun too!

I am feeling exactly the same way about Christmas shopping.. I really need to get started and some people are easier to buy for than others. That’s crazy that your mom bought the frame you were going to give her a present. Good luck coming up with ideas!
