Now it looks like Christmas

We finally decorated last night. Put up the balcony lights, put up the window lights, set up the christmas village. It feels more like christmas right now too because there’s snow!! YAY! It rarely snows here. I love the snow. Unfortunately I won’t have time to go out and take pictures of it except from my balcony and that’s not really a view. It didn’t start to snow until last night which was teh end of my weekend. It is nice to see snow in December though.

I’ve been thinking I should start watching christmas shows. You know the ones you always watched when you were a kid? For me there’s a few: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (the stop animation one), Frosty the Snowman, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, and my favorite…How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the animated version of course. Those are the ones I try to catch every year. I haven’t seen Mickey’s Christmas Carol in years so I downloaded it since I couldn’t find it on DVD anywhere. Oh! And Charlie Brown. How can anyone go through a holiday without watch Charlie Brown? My boyfriend hates it lol. Are there any you watch every year? I also want to try and find A Christmas Carol from a couple years ago with Kelsey Grammar. It was a musical. I never got to see the second half, but I loved the first half.

Lately all I’ve been doing other then watching tv and christmas shopping and working is watching Bleach. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten into an anime. I like that I have a laptop to watch it on now. I’m on episode 50-something I think. Ichigo just rescued Rukia and is ready to face off against Captain Kuchiki. I’ll probably watch a few more episodes after the Canucks game. I miss watching anime sometimes, there’s very few I’ve seen all of, especially of the ones with tons of episodes. I need to find my old downloading sites. I know one of them was Share Paradise, though now I prefer torrents. I’m having trouble finding a torrent for Season 4 of Bleach right now though. I’m such an anime dork.

…there’s a Smurf Christmas show on right now…I love cartoons still, but I can’t handle Smufs anymore…lol

  1. I am such a total grinch. There are no Christmas movies or shows that I enjoy, though some do make me feel nostalgic. I guess, with my current taste, my favorite holiday something would be the movie ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night.’

  5. One of the things I love about Christmas is watching the older Christmas specials. I think there’s something about doing that that makes me feel like a kid all over again. :) *despair
