I don’t really know what to post since the video I wanted to post won’t upload. It was of my newly spayed cat, Calypso. She got the cone off her head (which I hadn’t actually put on very well in the first place, kind of on purpose) and then proceeded to play with it. She’d stick her face into it then fling it off again. It was rather amusing. I’m not really fond of the idea of leaving her home all day tomorrow with the cone on her head. She was flipping herself over backwards (literally, but not jumping in the air) trying to get the bloody thing off. I know she’s not suppose to lick at her incision, but I also feel bad. She’s also the first pet I’ve had since moving out of my parents place, so she’s basically my baby. I was hoping she’d be cuddly tonight but she was up and digging under the couch for her mice by the time I got home from work. I am so happy that there won’t be anymore moaning and sticking her butt in my face! No more heat cycles! Yippee!!

I’m thinking I need to make a list of all the books I want to read. It would help with my 50 in a year attempt I think. I’m trying to decide if I want to read Inkheart or not. I definitely want to see it, kind of because it’s got Brendan Fraser in it. And I need to get the other two books in Garth Nix’s Abhorsen series. I read most of the first book (I got a bit distracted near the end, I think a new Stephen King book came out…). Which reminds me, there’s also a new Stephen King book out. It’s apparently his views on the movies made of about 5 of his movies. I didn’t really look at it much, I just put it aside at work so I could buy it lol. I love Stephen King.

I’m totally rambling now, probably because I’m half distracted by Monty Python’s Personal Best: John Cleese. So I’m going to end there and hope I come up with something better to write about in the next couple days…

I will leave you with an awesome comic from Cyanide & Happiness:

Cyanide and Happiness, a daily webcomic

I would recommend everyone go check out their other comics! Hilarious!
