Wholey Crap! There's a Canuck Logo on my Oreo! :D
I bought a pin today of the 2010 Olympic mascotts sidekick, MukMuk! He’s a Vancouver Island Marmot, and friggin adorable! lol. I wanted to get a little stuffed animal of him but they didn’t have any. They had a set that had him with the three official mascots, Mika, Sumi and Quachi, but not just by himself.
Now I just need to figure out where to put the pin… I have a tendancy to keep things and never wear them because I’m worried about losing them or wrecking them somehow. I think I’m going to put MukMuk on my Salmon Kings zip up sweatshirt (their mascot Marty is a Marmot too!).
I also ended up buying a pair of cottony pants that were on for $15 from $45. They have the Olympic symbol on them. I couldn’t help myself (I had a “girl” moment lol…can’t pass up a sale!). They’re kind of ivory white colored, but feel like they’re going to be sooo comfy when I can finally wear them (because of certain ‘womanly’ circumstances I shouldn’t wear them right now…too much info I know). I have a pair of thin brown cotton pants that I got from Mark’s Work Wearhouse that I’ve been living in since I got them. I love cotton pants. I guess they’re probably all just refered to as yoga pants, but I don’t do yoga…lol.
In other news, I finished Inkheart (finally). It wasn’t bad, a little predictable. But now at least I can go watch Brendan Fraser (even though he’s definitely not who I thought of when I was reading about Mo). I started reading The Photograph by Virginia Ellis. It caught me enough that after reading the first page I figured I would read it next, but not enough to be reading it every day. It’s about two women, a young 17 year old girl and her sister-in-law. The brother of the younger girl (husband to the sister) and her fiance enlist in the war after the bombing at Pearl Harbour. Apparently further on there’s a secret that the women have to hide (the younger girl apparently does something one night with someone other then her fiance…I assume…). It’s very much a romance book, not something I would normally read so it’s probably going to take me forever to get through it. But we’ll see. I got other books waiting so I need to start reading it more often.
…Oh yea, and I bought a bag of Oreos today because they had the logos of the six Canadian NHL teams on it. I just wanted Canucks cookies! I finally get to watch the game tonight too! YAY!

My name is Carla. I'm a Canadian girl, Coca~Cola drinker, loyal Canucks fan, avid Stephen King reader, amateur photographer, Legend of Zelda addict and wannabe pirate. And yes, I know I'm a dork.

That pin is so cute! You make me want to get one!
I’m in the middle of reading Inkheart.. Not too sure if I like it yet.

I am not really that interested in the Olympics. I do not tend to wear pins either, so while it is cute, it would not really appeal to me.

LOL, I wouldn’t be able to eat the Oreos if they had the logo of something I love. xD You should take a picture when you open it. :D
