I did something so stupid I can’t get over it. I actually managed to drop my keys through that little space between the floor and the elevator. Now I have to go talk to the managers tomorrow to get them back. sigh It was the worst feel every when I did it. And they’re on a lanyard so I saw it happening kind of in slow motion and tried to step on the lanyard as it disappeared into the blackness. I really can’t believe I did it and am now incredibly annoyed with myself. I actually just had a flashback to having that feeling when I was in elementary school walking home swinging my key on my Canuck player keychain and dropping it on a grate. It actually landed so that the key was on one side of one metal piece and the keychain was on the other. I don’t think I ever walked home with my keys in my hand again. I can’t figure out how I managed to do it this time though. I had my keys in my hand one minute looking for my door key and then suddenly they were hitting the metal and sliding through the gap.

I have been watching the Scotties Tournament of Hearts this week every day when I get home from work. (It’s Canadian women’s curling for those who don’t know). BC was in the playoffs as of yesterday, they just finished playing Team Canada who had to win to be in the playoffs, and did. I’m not really a fan of any of the women curlers so I automatically cheer for my provinces team, which is BC. (I love Gushue in the men’s curling, and he’s from the other side of the country). I was hoping to go down and see a draw or two, but I never got tickets. It’s being played here in Victoria. It’s also the reason I think that the Salmon Kings are on an extended roadtrip, so no live hockey in almost a month! And none for another two weeks I think sigh.

And here’s a comic just for the fun of it.

I always loved The Princess Bride. “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die.”
